Most people do not necessarily think of sadness as having sacred or healing aspects. This is partly because when people feel sad there are elements within them of toxic shame and guilt which have not been healed, and this gets mixed in with the needed sadness. The common experience and effects of this mixed, distorted sadness are feelings of futility, of just being bad, wrong, and awful. The feeling that this cannot be redeemed. The compulsion to punish yourself or others. Which can often go into depression. This energetic state is very draining, tiring, downtrodden, and hopeless. All of this is an experience of contrast. From this place it is understandable that most people would not think of the state of sadness as being sacred or healing. Necessary sorrow has sacred elements of healing. Sorrow evoked by a life event or something you have done holds the promise for deep insight and learning. Our openness and willingness to walk through this process holds the profound potential for needed change and wisdom. Healthy sadness means that deep sorrow held in our heart, gut, and soul can be purifying, as purifying as feeling healthy shame. Sadness in this form is a slow, methodical resonance that has the potential to clean your soul, melting through your whole being to elicit whatever rectification, lesson, or change is needed in your life. Visualize liquid gold running through your entire being, knowing the very reason this is here is to help you transform some aspect of you. The resonance of this type of sadness, of holding sorrow in an intentional way that is sacred, purposeful, and honoring, is what is needed. Whatever transpired is here, so therefore it is meant to be. There is a point to our lives. Part of what we came to experience is doing things wrong. We are meant to be learning, growing, and evolving. When you allow and open up to healthy sorrow, and love that it is cleansing your soul through its resonance, you are experiencing the very nature of what sadness is for. This is the work of sadness, to cleanse us. Our acceptance will help shift us into purposeful transforming. When we, as a society, are used to things being punitive, right or wrong, good or bad, then that is what people believe in. This is a collapsed understanding. It is the one-way mindset. There is another way if you are willing to know. The resonant vibration of deep sorrow helps clean us out. It is powerful to understand that healthy sadness cleanses you through a very different vibration than what you are used to feeling as sadness. Through this resonant vibration your sorrow goes deep and just coats everything. Like liquid gold. Intentionally allow this feeling to be a healing and transformational element with whatever is bringing on your sorrow. Let the Sacred melt through you and cleanse your wounds and Soul.
